Evaluate Yourself

Before we start looking at some solutions to the games you just played, go ahead and review your process and then your work. Here's a smart way to do it:

1. Look back over your work and give yourself a grade for each part of the game. Use whatever grading system you like, but as much as you can, note specifically where things went wrong.

2. Next, go back and replay any games for which you didn't give yourself a high grade. Do this before you check your answers. Figure out if you did what you now feel you should have done. Ideally, when you look at the solutions that follow, they will either confirm what you figured out for yourself, or they'll present an interesting alternative to a successful approach that you crafted.
